Researchers basing on the analysis of archaeological material of the 13th-15th centuries assumed that they were 'brought to Rus through Khorezm, which became a part of the Genghisides' Empire in the 13th century like China' (Panov, 1986. p. 229; Avdusin, et al. 1989. p. 94).
The archaeological materials are evidence of import of the Chinese ceramics of Late Min period (1368-1644) in Khorezm.
Connections of Khorezm with Eastern Europe are well retraced by the archaeological materials.
